ALPE DI SIUSI
Europe's largest high-altitude alpine meadow landscape is considered to be one of the most prominent natural wonders of the Dolomites.
Alpe di Siusi, which slopes upwards gently to the south, has a surface area of nearly 52 square kilometres. This vast mountain refuge offers nature lovers and sportsmen and - women countless possibilities.

WILLKOMMEN IN SEIS

Umrahmt von kühnen Bergspitzen, dichten Waldreich, Tälern, weiten Wiesen- und Almflächen, liegt das sonnige Hochplateau des
Schlerngebietes. Die Vielfältigkeit seiner landschaftlichen Schönheit, Kunst und Tradition sowie die Wesensart seiner Bewohner verleihen diesem Teil Südtirols eine besondere Anziehungskraft. Das Gebiet rund um den Schlern kann auf eine mehr als 2000jährige wechselvolle
Vergangenheit zurückblicken. Man findet Spuren von prähistorischen Siedlunge, Wallanlagen, Überreste eines römischen Kastells, Burgruinen aus dem Mittelalter, sowie Bauten und Ansitze aus dem 17. und 18. Jahrhundert. Überhaupt geben dem Schlerngebiet die zahlreichen, weithin verstreuten Kirchen, Kapellen, Türme, alte Bauernhöfe, Wegkreuze usw. eine besondere Note und regen den Einheimischen ebenso wie den interessierten Feriengast immer wieder an, sich mit der Geschichte dieser Bauwerke und der Menschen, die damit zu tun hatten, zu befassen. Das Schlerngebiet hat sich im Laufe der Zeit zu einem weit bekannten und beliebten Urlaubsziel

L'Altipiano dello Sciliar è situato in un magnifico paesaggio di prati, pascoli, boschi, alte cime e ampie valli. A ben ragione è considerato
tra le zone più belle dell'Alto Adige. La varietà delle sue bellezze naturali, il fascino della sua storia, delle tradizioni, della sua arte, unite alle caratteristiche di ospitalità e cortesia dei suoi abitanti ne fanno un luogo di vacanze affermatosi oltre confine da più di cento anni. Abitato già in epoca preistorica, come testimoniano diversi ritrovamenti, porta ancora tracce di fortificazioni romane.
Numerosi e interessanti i castelli medioevali, le dimore e gli antichi manieri del XVII e XVIII sec. Soprattutto le tante chiesette,
cappelle, torri, masi e crocifissi posti lungo i sentieri conferiscono una nota del tutto particolare alla zona e invitano il turista ad
approfondire le sue cognizioni sull'originale storia di queste strutture e di coloro che hanno contribuito alla loro costruzione.
L'Altipiano dello Sciliar si è sviluppato in un centro tursitico rinomato in tutto il mondo. Tutti coloro che amano la montagna, i

L' Alpe di Siusi:

ALPE DI SIUSI, 1.700-2.200 m, il più esteso altipiano d'Europa (52 km2), notissimo centro di sport invernali,
palestra ideale per gli amanti dell'escursionismo, offre ai sui ospiti d'ogni parte del mondo un sicuro traguardo per le
vacanze, in ogni stagione dell'anno. Fioritura alpina unica al mondo, nel periodo tra metà giugno e metà luglio. Nel
comprensorio del Parco Naturale dello Sciliar, durante l'estate le strade sono chiuse al traffico automobilistico.
Permessi di transito in auto sono concessi a quegli ospiti che abbiano prenotato un soggiorno di almeno 5 giorni presso
uno degli alberghi situati nell'ambito della zona di tutela paesaggistica.
